Back in 2009, the founders of Lanier Partners had a vision: to create a World-Class charity event that in time would become one of the most celebrated Poker Runs in the U.S. The Pirates of Lanier Annual Charity Poker Run was born!
In the proceeding years our Poker Run has gained both fame and prestige as a well-organized fun-filled event that has raised millions of dollars to help kids in need.
Lanier Partners has since evolved into a year-round charity to help children. Our mission is to garner donations both large and small, and build a community-based charity that generates significant contributions for time-proven organizations that help kids.
We help kids with cancer, kids with serious illness, kids that are underserved, or kids that have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. These children deserve a fighting chance, and we give them that opportunity.
Our individual and combined efforts as a community make a difference. Each child saved and directed toward a prosperous future builds on itself many times over. There is hardly a better investment in our greater community than to invest in the youth of today.
Lanier Partners is committed to growing our donor base and reaching out to help more children than ever.
We are grateful to our all-volunteer staff and board. Our low overhead costs ensure that the maximum amount of dollars gets to the kids that need our help. Thank you for reaching out to us and supporting our organization. We do it all for the kids!

W. Dale Ozaki
Dale took the helm of Lanier Partners in 2020 and has had the vision to grow Lanier Partners into year-round children’s charity that has successfully raised millions of dollars to help disadvantaged youth. “We are committed to taking Lanier Partners to a new level by reaching a broad base of community support to help our local kids in need.” Dale and his wife Jessica are busy as restaurant owners of Fish Tales, Pig Tales, and Aqua Terra Bistro in the Lake Lanier area. However, Dale has graciously volunteered his time and energy to lead Lanier Partners in order to lend a hand to kids that need help.

When asked about it, Freddy said, “I truly believe in giving back to the community, especially to help get kids on a good track. So many kids need our help and they can’t do it on their own.” Thank you Freddy for helping one child at a time to overcome obstacles so they can succeed and become community members.

Sheridan Renfroe Bazemore
I am a native of Atlanta and I have been living on Lake Lanier for nearly 10 ten years. I’ve been in real estate for 22 years and 5 years ago my husband, Augie Bazemore, and I started transport shipping container company. We enjoy power boating on Lanier and at other poker runs across the country. I truly enjoy giving back to our community and all the less fortunate children. I’ve participated in the SHO (safehouse outreach)program with youths of Georgia and love everything about helping the lives of young adults thrive in a less fortunate community.
