Opening Speech By Steve Damus

We the People of the United States!
Lanier Partners of North Georgia has come today to bring unity to our community for the families and children in need!

This event has been organized to sponsor and lend a hand to children of fallen soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for us and our children. This event has also been organized to help Camp Sunshine to give children with cancer and their families hope and encouragement and a way to deal with the challenges that they face.

May God bless their organizations; they are so grateful for your kind donations.

You will be blessed for giving.
This is a special day. In tough times you can’t break the spirit of this great country as we remember September 11th. Thank you for coming today.

Our community has been very generous in giving their hard earned donations and sponsoring this great event and we offer our deepest gratitude.

We ask that you please remove your hats, place your right hand on your heart as we recite:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

The United States of America is the greatest nation in the world! If your brother, sister, neighbor is down, extend a hand.

Again, thank you so very much for helping us help others. God bless you and God bless the Unites States of America.
